About these resources

You don’t have to be in therapy to create change.

Sometimes we know something just isn’t quite right, but we don’t have the language for it yet. That doesn’t mean we necessarily need therapy. It just means we need to do some work to identify what might be going on for us and think about what could help.

Perhaps you’re trying to understand why a relationship affected you so much. Or maybe you’re struggling with controlling or recognising your emotions. You might be grieving and other people aren’t getting it. Or you may be wondering whether neurodivergence explains experiences you’ve struggled to make sense of for years.

These resources are designed to help you connect the dots.

Psychological expertise, adapted for you.

I’m Dr Christine, a Counselling Psychologist and EMDR therapist.

These resources bring together evidence-based psychological and clinical expertise with a compassionate, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming understanding of people’s individual experiences.

I believe psychological concepts and ideas can be powerful when they’re explained in a way that feels human, rather than clinical. These resources have been developed to do just that.

Sometimes information alone helps. At other times, we need someone beside us to help make sense of what we’ve experienced.

Resources can help us understand what we're experiencing, but sometimes understanding alone isn't enough.
