A compassionate approach to meaningful change.
My approach puts you at its centre.
I offer online and in-person counselling from my offices in Marlow, Buckinhamshire and Reading, Berkshire, for those aged 18 and above. As a qualified counsellor and Counselling Psychologist in my final year of training, I use a variety of psychological approaches and work collaboratively to develop a therapeutic relationship that suits you. Like any form of psychological therapy, counselling is a form of self-discovery. Improvements in your mental health come from exploring and reflecting on your thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviour. We might consider your past or current experiences and any links, patterns, and survival strategies that may no longer serve you. My job is to facilitate the therapeutic process using counselling skills and psychological theory to support meaningful change.

What you can expect.
Freedom of expression without fear of judgement.
As therapists, we hold a privileged position in hearing your often unspoken thoughts, feelings and experiences. I'm committed to providing a space where you can express yourself freely without fear of judgement. I approach all counselling sessions with the same kindness, compassion and empathy regardless of background or experience.
Recognition of your unique circumstances.
I recognise that each client will come with their own individual challenges and experiences. I commit to acknowledging, appreciating, and respecting the relationships, sociocultural circumstances, and religious and spiritual factors that affect your day-to-day life.
A collaborative opportunity for growth and healing.
I’m invested in helping you to change and grow. My therapeutic approach is collaborative: we’ll work together to understand what’s troubling you, what you wish to achieve, and whether I can help. It's vital you have a voice in your counselling journey. If there are things you find challenging about the process, I welcome open dialogue.
Prioritising your life experiences.
While I do work with psychological diagnoses, what's most important is that I'm here to listen to your life experiences. I have completed intense and focused training to do what I do. However, you are the expert in your experiences. I'm not here to advise and direct how you move forward. Instead, my training and skills help me gently guide you to elicit positive change, build resilience and support yourself.
